In a Review Paper By Theodore L. Wagener, Ph.D of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center & Oklahoma Tobacco Research Center (OTRC), it was determined that E-cigarettes appear to significantly reduce cigarette cravings and withdrawal symptoms by providing a behavioral replacement for smoking that many of the aspects of smoking – which is not true of current FDA approved nicotine replacement products i.e.,nicotine gum, patch, inhaler or lozenge). Researchers determined that Vaping appears to be the most realistic alternative to help individuals quit smoking.
