Research published in the Journal of Drug and Alcohol Dependence shows that Vaping is significantly less addictive than smoking, and similar to Nicotine Gum users. After sampling over 2,500 participants and gauging their Nicotine Dependence using the Gold standard Fagerstrom test , it was found that Vapers and Nicotine Gum users primarily used the product to deal with cigarette cravings, and exhibited similar degrees of dependence on the product – significantly less than the Cigarettes participants were attempting to avoid. Use this Research to counter any argument that Vaping is addicting a new generation of smokers; and prove that Vaping is used by those trying to NOT smoke.
